Hey Eric, all last year you were screaming for Steve Nash and some of were telling you time and again that Nash would not work here. You didn't listen. Please listen to us this time.

    No KMart.

I love Matthews hustle and heart but how the fuck do you go to the guy that has been struggling all night for the game tying desperation chuck?

It is great to see Nic do that, but I'm worried he'll just go back to passive Nic.

Not to mention Batum was open.

Also, love watching Batum DEMAND the ball. Absolutely LOVE it.

Doubtful. One of the reason's he's shooting so poorly this season is cause he's taking a lot of shots he wouldn't have taken before.

I wish you'd make the posts where you're being in character more obvious. Because I doubt anyone, who actually has the skill of thought, would be saying that Lillard isn't cutting it or even suggest he's at fault.

So like, post stuff with a "in character" tag or something.

    Remember this GM quote?
Well, I'm worried about the #6-#15 players on our team. I'm worried about how poorly they played and worried about how Freeland, Claver, Leonard and Barton are developing. Good on you for having cap space this summer. Really, well done. Now, can we not rely on still-gimpy Ronnie Price (b/c our 2010 1st-rounder isn't cutting it) and Sasha Pavlovic to pass the ball to Jared Jeffries, so that he can dump it to Leonard shooting a 19' jumper?

And it's for 50 minutes of the 240 we have in a game. over 1/5th of the game is poop-festy.

Well the opposite of learning from the game that our bench sucks is that I firmly believe our starters very competitive with just about anybody.

Man, wouldn't it have been amazing if LA hit that last shot? It was really close.

Fun game, loved seeing Batum be aggressive and light it up! I thought LarMarcus could have done more damage down low.

The Spurs got a lot of bullshit calls, and to make matters worse, the same crap wasn't called on the other end, when it was the exact same play. There's the game right there.

It would be nice to have some of our old bench players back like, Mills, Bayless, Cunningham....

First game I've attended in person this year, and it felt very much like a November NBA basketball game. In other words, both teams played uninterested for large parts of the game -- especially the Spurs, who sorta ran in 3rd gear all night long. But their 3rd gear is apparently good enough to beat us, especially when we really didn't play with any sort of urgency until the last 3-4 min. It made for an exciting finish, but this is really a game we should have won.

Did Patty Mills grow a few inches and add 15 lbs to his frame? He doesnt seem like a runt anymore.

I know you're wrong because you just said, "Lillard aint cutting it."

Isn't it kind of early in the season for your mid-season meltdowns?

He's not really shooting that poorly, he's barely down from his career averages and the seasons just begun.

I was at the game too. Patty was trying to pest Lillard all night. A lot of sloppy turnovers and I'm beginning to think that Ronnie Price is just as bad as Nolan.

Took my wife to the game. She was amazed with all the BS calls Ginobili got, and was incredulous over the Lillard "foul" on Duncan near the end. I'm not usually one to scream "refs screwed us", but that was really how I felt leaving the garden last night.

That said--great game to attend. Atmosphere throughout the 4th was fantastic.
