I really really really can't believe the Lakers went with D'Antoni after the mess in New York. Kobe did change his number to 24 in honor of D'Antoni and I believe Nash liked having him as a coach. Perhaps they had a say in recommending him? Can Mike D'Antoni really get the job done here?
