Strange tweet considering it comes after a game where he played 34 strong minutes. Not sure where he is going with this.
These tweets remind me of Jamal Crawford's emo tweets last year. Nothing like these veiled, indirect tweets.
Fans probably blasted him on twitter. Its happened a few times to him this year. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Why would people be blasting JJ? His performance on the court has been solid. He seems like a good dude, too.
JJ is not the reason we are losing. Curious to hear what is pissing him off but have no problem with any Blazer knocking a Hawk on their ass tonight.
Yes, I got that. What you're not getting/answering, is the "Why JJ?" part? That makes no sense to me. Just throwing the scapegoat theory out there makes little sense to me. So I'm wondering why JJ would be the "scapegoat". The answer at that point should be along the lines of, "Well, those fans are just pretty fucking retarded." Or perhaps, "Those fans are clueless." Either way, not sure why people need a scapegoat, as you say. And even more concerning is that if some fans need a scapegoat, as I've asked, "Why JJ?"
The scapegoat this year is the bench. Last year was JC and tons of fun Felton. Miles, Zbo, and Wallace were it before. Seems like there is always a single player that fans harp on
Something or someone has apparently ticked off Portland Trail Blazers forward J.J. Hickson and it wasn't me. If you were up around 8 a.m., and are following @Hickson21, you might have seen a couple of interesting tweets from him. The first one said, @Hickson21 “If you don't like how I'm about to start operating, then f$@ck ya. Straight up. I'm on one...” Well, okay. That came out of nowhere. Then there was another one shortly after saying, @Hickson21 “I see that being the nice JJ gets me no where...” So, 10.2 points per game and 10.7 rebounds a game is the nice J.J.? Look out league. After today's shootaround, I approached Hickson to find out what this was all about. “I'm just going to be me,” Hickson told CSNNW.com. “I'm going to start being more vocal with my teammates and my opponents. I'm just going to start talking. I just made up my mind that some things need to change and we need to stop this losing streak and I decided to tweet it out.” So, the tweets were basketball related? “Yeah, it's not like I'm not happy or anything like that, it's just I feel like I'm not being who I am and that's talking to my teammates and getting at the other teams, too.” As Hickson was answering my question, head coach Terry Stotts walked by and said to Hickson, “Hey, you know Chris wants you to come off the bench.” Then I had to explain my stance to Hickson. “It's whatever coach wants to do and however I can help the team,” Hickson said. “I know I'm the trash player. My points come off of rebounds and every team needs a player like that. Obviously every player wants to have their name in the starting lineup and competing, but it's whatever the coach wants to do.” Hickson says he hasn't heard his name being associated with coming off of the bench until coach Stotts brought it up during this interview. And in regards to those tweets, I have no clue. http://www.csnnw.com/pages/landingblazers?Hickson-vows-to-be-more-vocal-with-teamm=1&blockID=801015&feedID=5212
