It seems that Oregon is #1 in the human polls, ND is #1 in the computer rankings, and KSU is #1 in the BCS.

This system is soooo messed up!

The best thing for us (besides running the table) would be for USC to knock off ND. It wouldn't be that far-fetched.

I still think we could be looking at a ND vs SEC natty. Gotta maximize those TV ratings!

Anyone who wouldn't put Oregon #1 right hasn't been paying attention to college football.

I am rooting for Notre Dame though. I'd love to see Oregon vs. Notre Dame in the title game. I think Notre Dame is like the Dallas Cowboys. They used to be "America's Team," and all of that publicity and coverage led to a lot of people turning on them and hating them during their losing seasons. Now I feel like more people root against than for Notre Dame, just like the Cowboys. In a weird way, they're an underdog.

My boss is a ND graduate and we'd do serious battle if there was a ND/UO Natty.

Honestly the Irish better not hope to get us! We unlike Boston College, BYU and Stanford wont drop 20 in a game, we'll do that in a quarter and the Irish will look like a pop warner team by second half! I think USC will show them very soon what a B+ Oregon offense looks like without our tempo and that's all the Irish will want!!!

Calm down Duck fans. If you guys win out, which you should, your Ducks will without a doubt be #1 in the BCS and nobody will disagree with it.

We'd have to beat USC (as opposed to UCLA) in the PAC-12 Championship, though, as to help the computer strength-of-schedule rankings...wouldn't we?

I don't care what rank we are, as long as we go to the Natty.

The Ducks finish the year with 3 ranked teams. Stanford, Oregon St, and USC/UCLA. That will bump your strength of schedule up a lot.
