I know he has very few fans here and he has played downright awful the last few years BUT he averaged 13 ppg off the bench for us a few seasons ago and that is exactly what we need right now. Maybe he'd play better if we brought him back and gave him the green light for 8-10 minutes. We could probably get him real cheap.
I would bring in Outlaw, What the hell ya know. Outlaw is a good kid and better then any of the bench players we have with the exception of Meyers Leonard.
I would trade Sasha for Outlaw, but only if we are in full tank mode and only because I want to hear the RG play his song everytime he score.
I'd normally say no. And I'm as big of a T-Law fan as there is. I still want to say no. But I'd rather have Travis and Leonard and nobody else on the floor than our current bench. We'd be as terrible as possible on O, as "porous" on D as our bench is, and we'd still be shit. But that's an improvement over status quo. Add a player or two from the starters at times, we'd still be porous on D. But we'd get a bucket or some FT's on O. Sadly, that'd be an improvement. What more (or less) can be said about our bench?
Pavlovic makes a little over 1 million a year. He was a solid "throw in". I am not sure why people are so anxious to trade him. He fills a nice cheap role.
What's the point? We're not developing the guys we have now. Getting another player to play in front of Barton and the Euros would be detrimental to their development. My feeling is that the "B and Es" will get PT when 1) The coach, the owner, and the fan base (season ticket holders, really) all realize we're not making the playoffs, 2) AND they've worked hard enough in practice so that the coach can sell the "they earned PT in practice" line, 3) OR there are obvious injuries. I expect these things to happen 20 or 30 games into the season.
