Re: Harrington is interested in being a Celtic?! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>In addition to the Nuggets, he said he is interested in Indiana, Boston, Golden State and Minnesota.</div>http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/nba/...4904008,00.htmlI think we should make a move. He's a better 2nd option than Wally, and he can actually play the 4 without us getting hurt. He's a terrific rebounder and can play inside/outside. I'm not sure if ATL would be interested in Wally, so we might have to give up some youth or go into a 3-way. I'd give up TA, Scal, Grant, someone else + an unprotected pick for harrington.
Re: Harrington is interested in being a Celtic?! Of course an article from Colorado won't mention his interest in the Lakers.
Re: Harrington is interested in being a Celtic?! I think this would be a good addition for the C's. Although, I think that it would be best to have him in the starting lineup with Gomes. So they could play Harrington at the 3 spot considering he can play the outside fairly well also. If the c's traded him giving away Wally, their starting lineup should look like this.C-Kendrick PerkinsPF-Ryan GomesSF-Al HarringtonSG-Paul PiercePG-Delonte WestI just dont think they should leave Gomes out of the starting position. He is showing too much potential and promise in order to leave him on the bench. If they keep Wally and trade others, I say you might have to put Gomes on the bench. But i really dont know.
Re: Harrington is interested in being a Celtic?! Whoa! That would be awesome. You kniw what's ironic about this? I was reading the Celtics board on RealGM a couple months ago, and some poster sat down and talked to JoJo White at some charity event (with pictures included, so it was legit), and he said that when he asked JoJo about what he thinks the Celtics are going to go after, JoJo immediately said "Al Harrington." Hmm...

Gomes really isn't good coming off the bench, he did it at the beginning of last year and really didn't do much. He has more confidence starting, his game certainly is better. Anyway I love the idea of Gomes and Harrington playing together, they both have a very nice inside, outside game. Throw Paul Pierce in that mix, damnnnnn they could be killing defenses night after night
Re: Harrington is interested in being a Celtic?! i really want this to happen actually. it's always good to have a player as versatile as Harrington. He's such a good rebounder, and he can play both inside and out. If we could pull this off, then trade Wally for KMart, i'd really like our chances in the atlantic. We'd be a much better defensive/rebounding team, and we could still run.Telfair/RondoPierce/WestHarrington/GreenKMart/GomesPerkins/Ratliffthat team could definitely win the atlantic.

He is a great 2nd option to a team like Boston..He's improved his 3 point shot SO MUCH..I love that lineup though..You'd be set
Re: Harrington is interested in being a Celtic?! I'm possitive both of those moves won't happen...it will either be one or the other or none because it just simply won't happen and I can put money on the fact that Bassy doesn't start over Delonte. West led the league in bpg as a point guard and had a terrific year last year running the point.

Solid, but nothing great. And no way Denver takes Wally and his knees for K-Mart (even though it does make sense for both teams), and I'm not so sure we should give up on Big Al just yet, for a combo forward like Harrington. But, I will have to admit, they roster is pretty (and also highly unlikely).
Re: Harrington is interested in being a Celtic?! h'ed be good for about 8-9 rebounds, which is great by our standards. And i think there is a shot at Wally for KMart. KMart doesn't get along with Karl, he also has injury problems and a bad contract. It's not like there's no chance at it. Wally is still a good player.
