UCLA...... We don't need to give USC a chance at revenge and it looks better in recruiting to say we beat BOTH LA schools.
Who do ya'll think would be a tougher opponent for Oregon? I voted for UCLA in the poll, just because they didn't play them in the regular season, and it'd be nice to eliminate the "what if's," but in terms of match-ups, do Oregon fans feel more confident playing USC or UCLA?
Why? USC has, one again, grossly underperformed and I think has lost some motivation. On the other hand, UCLA is driven to get back to the conference title game and I think will really be up for this one.
I would rather play UCLA. I think it's a disadvantage to give a team a second shot at you, and that team is talented enough to beat anyone.
Also, UCLA is a darn good team. Playing a team twice is like kissing your sister. Nothing sexy about it at all.
Well, that doesn't really matter to me. I think by the time we're in the PAC12, we should be pretty much ensconced in the top 2. I'm more concerned with winning out at this point.
We played an almost perfect offensive game against USC and they still hung with us for most of the game! I don't want to rely on having to be perfect twice with a defense as banged up as ours! So UCLA for sure!
I'd be a bit worried about playing USC again. The last two times we played them, they absolutely shredded our defense, and now we have injury problems on defense to boot!
