is going to do what Chip wants and we all know that, and no one can speculate on his timetables or his desire to remain Duck's coach.....

    BUT

when recruiting sites and ex coaches and sports writers, are more into talking and writing about Chip leaving for the pros and to what team rather then who's coming to the #2 Ducks next year, I think we've got a problem! Recruits want to play for Chip and he's the freaking pulse of the Ducks and we all know that too. I feel our recruiting class is suffering not for what Chip is saying but rather what he's not, and that's he's a Duck for the next few years!

He could do a ton by putting these thoughts to rest of him splitting for the pros next year if a title is achieved, he hasn't, and that in my eyes means he's not doing what's best for Oregon. The Ducks are about to build a dynasty here and I for one think our recruiting base and future classes are squarley tied to our coach for now.

Every week a new article is written about Chip ready to bolt and that can't help our recruiting one bit. Maybe Chip might want to speak up so we could land a couple kick ass secondary players and some D lineman? If I'm a recruit today looking at the Ducks, I'd want to know Chip was going to be around wouldn't you?

coaches say this shit all the time, and then leave anyways

and the players are smart enough to know that

The players are smart enough, and that's why Redmond and Tyner both decommitted. I believe if Tyner had been a California kid he'd still be decommitted, the Oregon pressure brought him back!

These are the facts as I see them, we are the #1 team in the coaches poll, AP poll and #2 in that flawed system called the BCS, and this after coming off 3 straight Pac-12 championships and a Rose Bowl victory, while squarely in the national championship hunt as of now.... so why are we losing recruits and not able to gain any amazing ones, and only have 10 to show? Seems to me pretty clear, most think Chip is gone!

Chips silence has only fueled this! How many recruits is Chip willing for us to lose while he flirts with the NFL on the down low? We have a very weak recruiting class in postitions we must fill! OL, DL, LB's and our secondary is a ghost town on the Duck board.

Chips huge need to see if the spread will make it on a NFL level may be the downfall of this program! BTW Chip! The Spread wont work at a level where all the players are amazing on both sides of the ball! As it stands now, if he bolts for the NFL the Duck cupboards are empty to rebuild this program in the positions we must have to be successful! The good news is if we were put on sanctions we'd still need 5 more players just to make our cap!

Losing Redmond pisses me off and I say again, what the hell are our recruiters freaking doing out there? Same question as last year!!!
