    Amaechi? Sorry, he may not have been nice at a party but he was still the first to come out besides being a Renaissance person, not usual in NBA. So I like him. And I like Steve Nash until he became a Laker and on my shit list on principle.

    Not sure about 7, but I can name Kobe Bryant, Ruben Patterson, Karl Malone, Rick Fox, Bill Laimbeer. Bonzi Wellls is in a different category as I never actually knew those other 5 dudes but I did know Bonzi, so it's personal. For no. 7, well, no one has mentioned Isiah Thomas. Yes, good player, good personal story, but he screwed up everything he touched in his post playing career. And there is Sasah Djeorgevic (sp?). Remember him? Not very memorable as a player, but I remember him flashing the Serbian nationalist hand sign when Serbian nationalists were operating rape camps and committing mass murder in Croatia and Boznia.

    Probably someone I'm forgetting, but if I forget him, I guess he doesn't belong on the list!

    Surprised so much hate for Garnett. Dude worked his ass off to try to make that Timberwolves team succeed. He's the epitome of "intense." I'll be pretty sad to see him retire. One of the real personalities (and talents) in the game.

    I think the guy is a royal bullying asshole, and I'd call him other names but I don't want to offend the other expletives. Yes, he has talent. No, I don't like his personality, attitude, his sportsmanship or his regard for competitors. Maybe that's just me.

    crandc- I'm well aware that he came out. That's why I went up to him. I wanted to thank him and introduce myself. He was a total dick and not interested in talking to me at all. Just because he did something good by coming out doesn't make him a good, nice, or likable person. If you were with me that night, you wouldn't have liked him either.
