rashad, please stop. Delonte has not guaranteed anything. He will struggle for a starting spot, and there is a HUGE logjam in the backcourt.
Hey RashadzMcCantz? How much money would you be willing to bet that Delonte averages LESS ppg than Jameer? Jameer automatically has the starting spot considering he is the best pg on the team. He will get the most minutes at the spot and their arent that many scoring options on the team. He is the 2nd scoring option on Orlando. As for Delonte, he has to compete for minutes with Bassy and Rondo at the PG spot and Wally, Paul, TA, and Gerald at the 2 guard spot. It is much more crowded in Boston. You say that there is no way that Jameer is the better shooter yet Jameer averaged a way better percentage from 3 point range and about the exact same from the 2 point field goals. And to add to that, Jameer averaged more ppg. They are both good shooters but I would take Jameer over Delonte.

Wally's spot is not guaranteed. His knee is supposedly not looking very good, and you'll have to remember, the better player doesn't always start. Ricky wa sour second best player, and the 6th man role was PERFECT for him.
Yeah, but Ricky got his 40 mpg anyway. Regardless of whether he starts or not, Wally will get his 35 mpg of playing time at the 3 and sometimes the 2. And behind that you still have Gerald Green and Ryan Gomes (plays SF and PF half and half, am I right?)
no, ricky got 40 mpg this past year when he was starting. the year before he was a 6th man. i don't expect Gerald to get too much time, atleast in the beginning of the season. There has been talk of very small line-ups by Doc with Wally at the 4, which i might say will turn out disastrous.
