Re: UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit (Nov/17) I foresee a lot of decisions on the main card: GSP, Kampmann, Philippou, and Hominick. The only finish I see is Carmont grinding down Lawlor and tapping him in the second or third round with a RNC. Philippou could knock out Nick Ring but it seems unlikely. Kampmann and Hominick will be running technical striking clinics. GSP will be GSP.
Re: UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit (Nov/17) Carmont is becoming an intriguing prospect in the middleweight division. He has great size and grappling. He's been fighting for a long time but he isn't old. The move to Tristar seems to have been the best decision he could've made. He's on an eight fight winning streak and the fight with Lawlor on the main card seems designed to help put him over as someone ready to take on a former contender like Okami, Shields, or Stann. He has some losses on his record but it seems like he's turned the corner?
Re: UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit (Nov/17) Pretty obvious what the UFC is hoping for putting Côté & Sakara against each other. Problem is Côté has never had a Fight of the Night and hasn't knocked out a UFC opponent since 2008. He just grabs his opponent and leans into the cage. In fact I can see him shooting for take-downs in this one. Sakara has lost two in a row and will be fighting not to lose.
Re: UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit (Nov/17) If you're planning on buying this PPV, Xbox Live is supposedly offering it at a 30% discount. I haven't streamed anything live over the Xbox before besides games so I can't speak to it's quality. I don't know how many PPV's they've streamed but I remember when it began they had some issues and needed to provide refunds.
