Stanford totally stuffed our run. Sometimes I think Oregon needs to try a more traditional offense, and hit guys like Colt Lyerla over the middle. He's such a weapon that is barely used.
And that's why I said earlier in the season that we weren't using Colt enough. We are the only team that doesn't give their star receivers the ball 10 to 12 times per game.
CK just got hosed and exposed. (again) Go to the NFL Chip. You will be lucky to have as good a record as Brooks did!
nothing has changed. The NFL will continue to come knocking with great offers or he can choose to stay in the great situation he finds himself in. It's still up to him STOMP
You can't beat a team that plays as well as Standford did last night when your QB looks as bad as he did. Mariota, for as good as he has been all year, looked like a true freshman last night. If he had played like he has in the past we win, he didn't and we lost.
I agree, but we couldn't get the run going at all last night. Chip just kept running the same sweeps trying to stretch the D and it wasn't working. At all.
They took the edges and cut back lanes away. We did well running just outside the b gap. Why we didn't run there more and bring the edges in, I do not know. Especially in OT.
He sure did. Every time he felt pressure, he bolted outside the pocket. I was begging for him to step up in the pocket. Instead, he was throwing on the run all night & it wasn't pretty.
So, let's say we beat OSU next week but Stanford beats UCLA. That would be our last game of the season. What bowl game are we looking at? I assume they would still get an "at large" for a BCS?
Stanford would host the Pac-12 championship game against UCLA, and we'd get an At-Large, probably to either the Fiesta Bowl(against K-State or Oklahoma) or the Orange Bowl(against Florida State).
Maybe Nebraska(If Wisconsin wins the B1G Championship game) or a Big East team. K-State may lose to Texas next week, allowing Oklahoma to win the Big 12.
