I agree with the "???" since it is an irrelevant question.

Interestingly what you, Julius and Denny have resorted to is building strawmen such as:

    "THE WHOLE country IS RACIST!"

"yep, black people are racist. you win."

"I guess it's racist to invite over a friend who's italian and serve him pasta."

"only southern DEMOCRAT blacks are racist"

    Etc, etc.

Strange that it fires you up so much to hint that there might be some racism from black voters as well.

    the topic of racism?

93% of americans marry within their race, and that seems more important than a PRIMARY race to me

just wondering your thoughts on the matter, if you dont want to answer the question, i dont really care i guess

If I had a wife, she would be more important to me than anything anybody else does.

    Could be.

You're pretty clever with your leading questions.

Good for him. He sounds like an example for others to follow. As for how you took my post, it was in general, not to do with your father. I'm saying people who think they're being held back by racism need to stop using it as a crutch. Overwhelmingly, we're a meritocracy. So, stop bitching about your station in life and start working. And as for being an asshole, guilty as charged. However, I didn't let my disability hold me back one bit.

i would say people want to be with someone they have the most things in common with, and most people likely vote the same way

you call that racism, i dont

i can see where you are coming from...but i think most people equate racism with a feeling of superiority or hatred based on race, you have a minority (no pun intended) view, doesnt make you wrong, but it doesnt make you right either, and i think you are smart enough to see both sides of the argument

Luckily, Jews have only had to endure 1,000's of years of bigotry, rather than hundreds. Yet they persevere.

Everyone has to deal with bigotry in one form or another. Some simply refuse to allow it to define their life. But, of course, you're correct. If you have dark skin, you're destined to fail, so you should stop trying. Everyone hates you because of your skin color.

Bigotry is as minimized as it will ever be in terms of the legal system. So, it's as good as it's going to get. And I hate to break it to you, but we all discriminate. There's a reason my wife is a 5'8" blond with 34Ds instead of a short redhead with 38As.

Slavery was an obscenity. My point was that for their future generations, it may have been a blessing. For example, the Russian Revolution and then the Japanese invasion of China were awful for my ancestors, but it drove them to America, which was a wonderful blessing for me. But you just keep on being ignorant.

As for your Jimmy The Greek "breeding" argument, it's just silly and not worthy of a real response.

Are you being purposefully dense? In the 2008 Democratic Primary, it was a bunch of "me too" positions, just as it was in 2004. The difference is that a half-black candidate was running. I think the reasonable assumption is that all things being equal, Barack Obama having a black father was the deciding factor between voting for him and voting for Hillary if you're black. I think that's racist. But you keep on fighting the good fight; it's working for you.

The difference is that Republicans generally don't engage in identity politics the way the Democrats do. People are people, and they should be treated equally without regard for their skin color or religion.

First, I didn't call you an asshole. I said that was an asshole post. There is a difference.

And as far as how I took your post, how else would one take it? I tell you that I've personally seen racism directed at my father and you respond with a post to me that people need to toughen up? You go off on some rant about fat people, gay people and albino people that has nothing to do with my original reply to you.

Then you immediately follow that up with a post about all of the victimization in here?!?

That was rude. You want to have a conversation about my father that's one thing. But to sit there and insult him, while I'm sure you're a wonderful person, was an asshole thing to post.
