    34/14 and 24/13 his first two games back from injury...

    I can tell a lot of people in this forum hate the guy, but I can't imagine why, given his Oregon origins.

    I'm from Memphis,... we traded his rights for O.J. Mayo, and I'm still in awe of his productivity.

    oh yeah, I hit up the Food carts downtown. they had this good one on 10th and Alder with german sausage...really tasty. the food carts in portland kick the shit out of the food trucks in LA.

    Just did the half marathon in Vegas just walked it. Pretty good...sore.

    Zags wasp what you had Crohn's disease or colitis? It was benefitting that and there were a lot of runners and walkers

    So why did Josh Smith (the college one) quit UCLA? I can't find any article that cites any particular reason, but I figured ya'll are more in tune to the happenings on the West Coast than I am.

    Yeah, he was a headcase. Yeah, he was fat. Yeah, he was dominant when he wanted to be but would fade into the background 90% of the time. Most programs can deal with that though.

    What actually caused the potential fringe first round pick just leave UCLA? What was the straw that broke the camel's back?

    “I have made the decision to leave the program for personal reasons,” Smith said in a statement. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at UCLA and am grateful for the opportunity that has been presented to me here.”

    Smith has been granted his release, effective immediately. It is unclear if he will stay in school at UCLA or if he intends to transfer.

    A person close to the team confirmed that the 6-foot-10, 300-plus-pound Smith did not practice Tuesday because of "weight issues," which has been an issue for the junior during his time with the Bruins.

    Smith had a chance to actually make it to the next level. How many players (except for Oliver Miller) would stare the NBA in the face and say, "Nah, I'd rather just be fat!"?

    they told him he cant drink anymore cokes, or eat hardly any fat, hes 43

    he was already a scrawny dude too
