You can all hate on Phoenix, but check the records: they beat Kobe and the Lakers, and don't get me started on the Bucks now. Each team to their own; two seasons ago, the Pistons playing style wasn't a beauty to watch, but they won a whole lot, so I could appreciate it. Yeah, the Suns are an offensive team, and I love to watch them play. Props to D'Antoni and Nash - if Amare wasn't injured, the Mavs wouldn't be in the Finals last June.

Amare changes everything even if he's an elite player...the whole offense changes. I'm just saying, put Diaw anywhere else and he's very average...put a player from the Pistons anywhere and he's still as good anywhere else, thats how dramatic and wierd that system is.

MAybe the best part of this trade for the Nuggets is that it puts them about $4.5 million below the luxury tax level. So if they could convince Wells to sign they would not have to pay that much of a luxury tax, something owner Stan Kroenke is reluctant to do.Patterson really didn't have a position in Denver as his best position is SF and he isn't getting any sort of quality minutes there with 'Melo around. Plus his defense, while still good, has take a step back as he has gotten older. But his energy will be missed. But I think he was the lone Nugget to verbally back Kenyon Martin last year when he blew up at George Karl and that was another reason for trading him.Smith add good depth behind Camby and whoever plays PF. But like I said it might free up enough money for the Nuggets to get Wells or Harrington (less likely). Or it could be a step in the Nuggets trading Kenyon Martin.

LOL can you counter what Diaw stats are for the French team? (i dont know his stats, but I assume they're good). No Nash there. So nyeh!!!!about THIS trade. Bucks could be good if they could ditch the 3 ugly contracts they have.
