    Basically Batum is looking like the same inconsistent player from before, except now he does it in batches instead of alternating every game.

    Nick, I don't know how NBA teams and specifically the Blazers work the responsibility aspect for something like coaching and establishing a defensive scheme. Is it mostly Stotts? mostly Caleb? and obviously the players bear responsibility. I'm just trying to figure out on whose head this mostly falls

    To be completely honest, I fault the players more than the coaches ... but even then I fault their overall lack of depth and overall shittiness more than any particular player. There just aren't enough people on this team that should legitimately call themselves NBA players, and those that are left are probably holding themselves back knowing how much energy they're going to need to keep up offensively.

    Jerome Kersey was even better than Buck at defense, and Duckworth was no slouch either. Clyde was an excellent defender when he wanted to be.
