So long as we're not the ones ending up with Cousins. Look, he's Derrick Coleman II. Super talented, super strong, super dickish.
I like the thought of Jefferson Favors Burks for LA/Babbit/Smith something along those lines would also do Millsap Kanter Burks for LA/+ throw ins.
last season was his best ever PER (a beastly 22.7) in what has been a steady climb upwards throughout his career this year he's working his way back from off-season hip surgery... tonight's game sure won't hurt his statistical cause. I think it's more likely then not that his PER will be back over 20 by mid-season STOMP
Here's one that LaMarcus certainly couldn't object to. Splitter seems finally to have figured it out (even if they've got him wrongly categorized), and Leonard would give us an all-Leonard bench that would actually be decent. And I bet the Spurs could make something out of Babbitt.
Rough draft. To Denver: LaMarcus Aldridge | Luke Babbitt To Portland: Kenneth Faried | DeMarcus Cousins To Sacramento: JaVale McGee | Evan Fournier | Pick
Two part trade. Extremely unrealistic (why would UTH take this garbage? Include next season's draft pick?). Garbage for Millsap/Watson: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=crqaaqe LMA for Cousins/Thornton: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d67u7ka Line-up: Lillard, Wes, Nic, Millsap, Cousins Bench: Watson, Thornton, Hickson, Leonard (Babbitt, Pav, Barton)
There is a really good chance we keep our pick this year, but we can't trade it until the draft, and only then if we acquire another one since it could be gone the following year
I knew there was something to it. I remembered reading in here that we had an opportunity to trade a pick last summer because we had two picks.
I don't get the joke; it seems like both teams might at least consider that trade. San Antonio could go with Aldridge and Parker and Duncan for one or two last tries at titles, and Portland would pick up two very promising guys who fit in with the age group they are working with. Not sure if San Antonio would do it because of the financial implications.
