Usually the Blazers wait a little longer to start their epic tank job. At least they are saving us the suspense.
Once again, they choke on the FT line in the 4th quarter. And LA...oh my goodness...he's playing like a poor man's Channing Frye. Why'd he pass that open short jumper? And, WTF was Hickson doing on that crazy fade away, when he had Wesley Matthews was wide open for the 3? And what's worse, the draft supposedly sucks this year, so we don't have much to look forward to. Why did the Blazers even bother mounting a come back? Why do these bums even bother to play period. Forfeit the rest of the season!
If Kingspeed is cool with Greyhounding it up, we could probably collectively purchase tickets for the rest of the season. The #1 pick is in the bag!
No injuries an excuse either. This is just a poorly comprised roster that's not talented enough to overcome it's shortcomings.
OMG, LOL. The 'good' news is, our starters KILLED their starters. It should be easier to get better bench players than more all stars.
Dame is in a pretty bad slump right now, shooting 14-51 in his last 3 games. Oddly enough, it has coincided with him taking more shots closer to the rim. Gotta get some calls, but still finish better.
They have now lost the last 10 games I have attended. The last victory I saw was Game 4 vs Dallas when Roy led us back from 23 down. But mags was there with me. Mags- come to Boston!
Mrs. and I are 26-1, including Roy's triple-double v. the Knicks, the miracle shot v. HOU and a game at Key Arena. The only loss was when we invited a friend and his wife on her birthday. No more birthday Blazers games.
BTW, Dame was 2-12 inside the 3pt line, 4-9 outside. Somehow ended up with 20 and 5, and should've had at least 4 more assists on wide-open shots. LMA took 4 of his 19 shots inside 13 feet. Dame and Nic 9-19 from 3...rest of team 1-12. (Take a bow, Wes!)
Now THAT was a depressing loss . . . Just when you think the Blazers are due for a win, they pull a stinker like this.
