lose games to greater there chances at a higher lotto pick? Of course they wont come out and say this because it would piss off a lot of fans. But do you think this type of thing goes on as to where it's the coaching staff and the players want to win but the front office wants to tank?
Seems pretty obvious that it is the plan and is already going on. If you see someone cut and a free agent come in sometime this year then maybe you can change your tune.
Actually, it seems pretty obvious that tanking is NOT the plan. If it were the coach's plan, the rookies would be playing - they're not. Neil may want to tank, but it's a delicate balance. Lillard and LeMarcus don't want to be part of a team that tanks, ever. We'll know the tanking job is in full effect when our vet. bench guys come up with mysterious injuries (anyone remember Edwards getting "gastritis"? btw, he was pissed about that fake injury).
No one is talking about the coach. If the coach had his way he probably would bring someone in who could help us win so he didn't have to run the starters into the ground. We are talking about the organization as a whole and mostly referring to the GM. Who is tanking without calling it that by his actions (or lack their of).
Blazers front office is tanking and Terry Stotts is Oshley's and Allens puppet. Kaleb Canales is the guy they really want and the only reason Canales is not the coach right now is because they don't want to let him go in a few years because he would have a shit team.
