Stotts saw that and decided on a personality transplant. He now has Aldridge in the weight room, doing 10 sets a day of yelling "Ball don't lie!" 5 reps each.

So in the case of Rasheed Wallace scoring for the Chicago Bulls who gets the points on the stat sheet? Brad Miller?

"Ball don't lie" and "Both teams played hard" will last forever. Sheed's greatest contribution to the game and discourse of sport.

Sheed gets credit for "Both teams played hard" and "cut the check", no way does he get credit for "ball don't lie". That one's been around forever, mostly in pick up games where guys call their own fouls. It has no place being used to show up an official in the professional game. All it will do is piss off the ref and insure even more calls go against you. But then Rasheed Wallace and professional behavior aren't exactly synonymous.

Gotcha... well, rock and roll existed before Elvis, but someone needed to take it mainstream. :ghoti:
