Is anyone watching this UNLV/Portland game?

Portland came to play!

 

...I just tuned in -- Univ Portland is a really low priority for basketball fandom in the state. They are starting to lay bricks though.

 

Yeah, I figured the game probably wouldn't be on the local radar because the Pilots are 3-4, whereas UNLV is a ranked, talent-stacked squad, but who knew... this one's coming down the the wire.

Portland collapsed in the early 2nd, and UNLV will probably win, but this is actually a good one to watch down the stretch. It's 65-60 with just under three minutes left...

 

UNLV has Grant High's Mike Moser. I like his game a lot. Kinda reminds me of Khawi Leonard.

Anyone watching this awards ceremony for NCAA Football?

It's interesting to actually hear some of these guys get a chance to speak. You see them every week, with helmets on, and maybe get a press clip from them at the most. It's cool to actually see what they're demeanor is off the field.

Also, damn, is Barrett Jones not on the screen every two fuckin seconds? His parents and my parents go way back, so maybe I just subconsciously notice it more, but it seems to me like I've seen him on tv more this season than any offensive lineman I've ever seen, college or pro.

My brother supposedly got Ulverative Colitis from taking Accutane. He was doing a lawsuit thing but I'm not sure where it went.

I'd like to add that a colectomy is not recommended in all cases of Ulcerative Colitis. My brother has had it for 5 years now, it's mostly under control, he has to take three pills a day for it though. I'd assume it all depends on the severity.

I took Accutane too. He better get on that shit now, there is a big civil suit going on with the company that made accutane, but the statue of limitations is 5 years.

I agree about not everyone should have a colectomy. In my case it was the best decision I ever made. When they took my colon out they said it looked like swiss cheese and it was disenigrating. The doctor said it was the worst looking colon he'd ever removed.
