Dude you need to get into Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. They are amazing shows man! YOu got netflix; so you can watch them free.
Seen them. Good, entertaining shows. Just can't sit around and watch TV. I get enough TV from sports. I keep busy, and have the radio on or music on pretty much always, so I just don't need TV or have time for it.
Wait. Your girlfriend has a 15-year-old daughter? <insert creepy but entirely tongue-in-cheek comment here>
Ellen's early stand-up was hilarious, if you get a chance you should give some of it a listen. I believe her to be one of very few celebrities who truly is a kind, honest, and genuine good person.
I loved her stand up back in the day. I got her autograph on a ticket stub after a show years ago. That was before her sitcom came out. Mitch Hedberg opened for her.
As mentioned above, I had never really watched her act, nor her show until I happened across it the other day. I have to admit, though, I was impressed by the return act of kindness.....even if it was only an act. Shoot, I'd much rather watch that, than the news garbage we seem to be getting these days/months/years. That said, I do love the Discovery and History Channels. Oh, and Man vs. Food!
First time I've vehemently had to disagree with you. Wilko is faker than yo girl's titties. Beyond that, it's just so plain terribly fake, it's glaringly obvious. Maury's show is entertaining, more entertaining than Ellen, I'll give you that. But Ellen is a rad human being. Genuine, but super-hilarious.
Not the small portion I saw. Really, it was pretty cool watching people "actually" be kind to others.
OK, I can appreciate that part. And truth be told, I have never seen anything more than snippets of any of those shows. But what I did see was plain out stupid as it just insults intelligence.
