He's a shorter Wilt, too. Shoots FTs way better.

I'd say he's a more explosive Stephen Curry. I wish he was he had CP's talent at running the point

Haha, didn't read the whole thread to see you'd posted the same conclusion first....grate minds think alike.

The similarities go beyond the game stats. Both use the threat of their deadly outside shot to set up their playmaking and they're also more or less the same size. Neither is a "pure" PG

Given our luck when that guy says "a more explosive version of Chris Paul", he probably means his knees.

Really, if you look at Curry's rookie year they aren't that far apart either.

Lillard just seems a lot bigger than Curry. At least he seems to play bigger. That's probably the single biggest difference--Curry isn't that aggressive of a finisher at the rim. Lillard has a little more of that Westbrook/Rose mentality of taking it to the rim and drawing the foul than Curry has. As his reputation improves and he picks up a few tricks, that will be worth a couple extra points every night.

But yeah, overall I'm digging the Curry comparison more than any other.

But, even without the meniscus, Roy still weighs more.

    Just sayin'.

I'd prefer Lillard, despite the similarities. Lillard is in his rookie year (and thus two years younger) and matching Curry. Plus, Lillard has a body type better suited for the NBA. He's more muscular. I worry about Curry's durability over the long-term.

In face and body, he's Isiah Thomas. The skill set comparison is To Be Determined, but Thomas is pretty close.

I think the Thomas comp is the best one I've seen yet. Not quite there, but it's the closest I've seen.

Lillard's single best weapon is his perimeter shot. Thomas was a pretty terrible three point shooter.

Nobody said Thomas was a "spot on" comp, I don't believe.

But I believe it's a closer comp than most comps.

Thomas was a size smaller and quicker too. Not feeling it

They both look 6-2 with sinewy slithery muscle, not the weightlifter build. (I don't care what their listed heights are; they're often not true.) They both have an oversized, bulb-shaped spherical head with cheekbones. I am sure they are related. Listen and you may hear one call the other a brother.
