    ...The lawyer for Notorious B.I.G.'s family and widow said Friday that it is ridiculous that arrests haven't been made in the rapper's 1997 killing since he's been told that the case has been solved.

    Perry Sanders Jr. says a former police detective has told him that the case was solved years ago and a current member of the police force has also confirmed that to him.

    I remember being in the "east coast" camp back in the day...just liked Biggie more than Pac. I remember I was headed to the beach when my roomate yelled to me "yo your boy Biggie got shot!"

    My wife's uncle is mentioned in the autopsy a few times. He's one of the LAPD officers.

    Yeah, it was. I remembered to just check old emails. It was back in March 2011, in response to a discussion we were having on the board (I believe related to the 10-year anniversary of his death). My wife's uncle was LAPD (gang unit) and had heavily investigated the case and was present at the autopsy.

    All I can is don't believe everything you read in the media!

    There's a lot of secrecy about the Tupac stuff, a lot of unknowns, so I get why conspiracy theorists play that up. A lot of people play into it, too. But he's gone.

    But Biggie? No, sadly, he's long gone. And nobody really even pretends he's not.
