Judge a man by the company he keeps. Look at the parade of no-names who did well in the box score.

Because of his exceptionally slow reaction time to incoming passes, the uncoordinated spazz bobbles away about 4 easy layups per game. What Felton was at the passing end, Aldridge is at the receiving end.

Notice how against the soft Raptors he only took six shots from 16-23 feet? Try going to the rim against a pro team!

He should have held Toronto to 60 points. He's garbage.

Yet he still manages to get 20+ points and 8+ rebounds. Could you imagine what he could do if he didn't fumble? He would be scoring 30 PPG

If ifs and buts were something something...

And can you imagine what numbers Hickson would be putting up if he had ANY plays ran for him?
Let's see, he's playing 10 fewer minutes, taking 10 fewer shots, is shooting 10% better, and is averaging only 10 points less....
C'mon people - PPG really doesn't measure much beyond how much a player is used in the offense. There have always been bad players averaging 20+ PPG.

Yep they are all ifs. The only fact is he is averaging 20+ points and 8+ boards. He is ranked #6 of all PFs in overall stats. He has a 20.9 EFF; which is higher than West, Davis, Ibaka, Anderson, J. Smith, Millsap, Young, Gasol, Boozer and many more.

So glad he can prove he is definitely one of the best PF's in the game right now.

That's the point. He has the physical talent to be so much better, but he never will be, because his brain is miswired. Half of the league hasn't noticed, and could be fooled in a trade, and we could come out ahead.

No, I can't imagine it, because Hickson's not a scorer, and will never be a primary scoring option on any team that wants to win. I'd love to see how Hickson would handle all of the double-teams that LMA receives. It would be hilarious.

Trading him for Kevin Seraphin is clearly the answer

    I can't believe I actually read that

    Some expert analysis right there.

LMA has gotten more skilled each and every year, albeit slowly. When interviewed last night after the game he said offseaon training was the key to expanding his game. Guess what, he didn't have that luxury this year.

Few teams make the PF or C the leading scorer. The reason is that it would take their focus off of more important duties. I like Hickson not thinking of points all game long.
