All Buss has to do is kiss Phil's feet and present him with the head of D'Antoni, and all will be well again.

K*be scored 42 in the loss. Aren't the L*kers, like, winless when he scores 35+?

Waiting for D'Antoni to get fired, collect his serious coin that was due over a few years, and LA to bow to Phil's demands. I freaking cannot wait.

No, Christmas is for my kids - that's how I get my enjoyment out of Christmas as an adult.

The anticipation of the Lakers' saga.... It's like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Summer Break all in one.

I'm almost having more fun watching the Lakers lose than I am watching the Blazers win. And it happens more often, lol! Their next game in NYC is a bonafide loss to the Knicks. That makes them 9-14 going into the game of the year at Washington. This is hilarious. Apparently, the Lakers are "seeking other options at PG" because they can't wait for Nash whose situation is unclear. They're considering Delonte West and Eddie House. Why doesn't Eddie House play for us by the way?

Has a team ever had 3 coaches in 1 season?

The Lakers are currently the 3rd best team in California - and it's not even close. When was the last time the Lakers trailed the Clippers by 6.5 games and the Warriors by 5.5 games - at the same time? Has that EVER happened?

Oh, and they're only one game away from being the worst team in California. Wouldn't that be something - to see the Lakers looking up to the Clippers, Warriors and Kings - all at the same time!

Well, I didn't check every season, but the Lakers have only missed the playoffs twice since the Clippers moved to California (Sand Diego in 78-79 and subsequently L.A. in 84-85), and at least one of the Warriors or Clippers finished behind them in those two seasons.

Again, I didn't do an exhaustive search, but near as I can tell, the last time the Lakers trailed those two franchises by as much as they currently do was probably 1974-75 when the Warriors, lead by Rick Barry (30.6ppg) were the NBA champions, the then Buffalo Braves were the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference, led by MVP and scoring leader Bob McAdoo (34.5ppg, 14.1 rpg) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was still playing for the Milwaukee Bucks.
