I have to agree, this was debate was very close. As bigmo said, many arguments that would've backed up both of your arguments were not included. I'm going with dogma on this debate. His answers seemed more logical to me such as the rotation policy brown imployed. You can't expect your team to flourish when your constantly changing your team.He also brought up the fact that brown forced a system on his players of which they weren't properly utilized that. He turned the knicks into the joke of the nba simply because he didn't want to adjust. If you're a great coach, you should adjust to each situation and brown failed to do so. Isiah isn't an ego driven person like Brown and it seems to me that new york needs someone like him. A coach who can let his team player they naturally play which isn't playing slow paced, swing the ball around basketball. Some of the stuff Rashad said did not help his debate. He brought up Brown's detroits year but that was in detroit. He had players who fit in with his system. Tayshaun was already a stud before he arrived, he hounded tmac in that first round series. The fact is that as a coach, you're supposed to adjust to your teams play. He tried to force a system on the team and he failed horribly. The record is a proof of it.Winner- Dogma
Okay, I say Dogma is the winner. This was a great debate. I kept going back and forth on who I thought would win. Rashadz you surprised me, that was a great debate. I just thought that Dogma made some more good points. Rashadz almost made me change my mind but after reading the last couple posts I think Dogma won this.
Winner: nba dogmatistCongratulations on moving on to the next round, and winning the closest first-round debate thus far!
