Hmmmm, let's see now, PAU is 32 with HUGE salary this yr and next, now starting to have knee issues (red light and siren go off) - I think we should forget about PAU and leave him as a developing albatross across the Lakers neck

    Stampede win!

Claver and Freeland combine for: 33 points, 20 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals.

It is merely the D-League of course but it looks like this Freeland cat can play when he gets minutes.

Coby Karl still looks good, I've got to say. The deeper Ronnie Price gets in the doghouse, the more I'd like to bring him up.

Who would we cut? Because of this myth of needing a few veterans I don't think we would cut Ronnie.

A couple of weeks ago I would've said take your pick. But Babbitt and Nolan have really picked up their games, and we do need Pavlovic and Jeffries.

Holy canole, Claver went 4-13. He's getting better! :)

Get this guy a shooting coach.

I recommend watching a bit of the game (the whole thing is there at the link). The Stampede are actually fun to watch! Claver was all over the passing lanes (hence the 5 steals) and he and Karl really throw the outlet passes. I saw one fast break where either 4 or all 5 players touched the ball and it went the length of the court ending in an alley-oop without touching the floor!

He can shoot. It's confidence. But... 5 steals!

Babbitt is a vital piece to Stotts' offense. How sad is that? :)

Seriously though, Babbitt has a role on this team. Most of the rest of the bench, not so much.

I see our bench as like the Republican presidential candidates in the primaries. They all seem laughable, but they keep taking turns to rise to the top. Leonard was Gingrich, Babbitt is Santorum. Maybe Barton can be Herman Cain? But I have a feeling Claver or Freeland will end up being Romney. (Dunno who gets to be whatshername, crazy-eyes from Minnesota.)
