Listen guys, I maybe a bit of a smart ass but I honestly try to be a very good mod. I try to be very fair. But remember, I was voted in to be a mod. I wasn't appointed like some. If you guys think I'm a bad mod and it's time to get someone else in here that will do a better job I'm fine with that. If you want to put to vote me continuing to be a mod I'd understand. I like this forum, I like the people in this forum. But if I'm only making things worse then lets vote and make a change.
I've been here for years, won gramps game a couple of years, did a game thread here and there, start threads that get good discussion, offer Blazer tickets to the winner of gramps game . . . heck i've offered to buy everyone on here a drink. And not once . . . not once . . . do I get a thread about me on the OT borad much less the main board. Do I have to go board postal and get banned to get a thread in my name? Stop giving this kid so much attention and move on. he was fun to bug while here, but got banned so who cares about him anymore?
I think we should vote to make a change to the "policy" regarding obvious trolls with no intent of having any calm, intelligent conversations about basketball. How about we vote for the ability for the mods to IP ban too.

I'm bitching about the mods being stupid, and I'm certainly not trolling. If everyone just lets it go it'll happen again and again, and it shouldn't. Obviously the majority of posters disagree with the "policies" regarding trolls and the lack of ability to effectively ban them.

Let them come and debate if they bring stats and facts. If they have a meltdown then that is the point when you ban them. Banning them before they even say anything doesn't make sense to me. I am all for healthy debate and even a little good-natured ribbing. Until it turns bad (and I will admit it usually does) then we should not pretend to know how it is going to turn out.

I'm happy with the modding. I think you all do a good job handling the timbertrolls and I approve of the policies you've been following leading up to banning. I find some of the responses to the trolls worse than the initial trolling. Please don't feed the trolls. Thnx.
