    I'm positive they are incapable of comprehending advanced statistics.

    Rubio's passing ability doesn't make up for him sucking at everything else on offense, as is apparent by looking at his ORtg.

    I am also positive of this. The fact that they don't understand even the basic statistics leads me to believe they don't understand advanced stats, either.

    Yes, also remember there were only 66 games that season. He was a very distant second without a single first place vote. Kenneth Faried, Kahwi Leonard and Iman Shumpert (yes, THAT Iman Shumpert) all got more first place ROY votes than Ricky Rubio.

    Also remember, Andrea Bargnani came in second in ROY balloting once upon a time.
