...I snagged him several days ago as well, so far he has exceeded all expectations for a waiver-wire pickup!
Jack played well. However the rest of team looked inexperienced down the stretch. One would think at some point they will have a losing streak that will bring them back to the pack.
...when I had posted that he had only played 12-13 minutes and it was late in the 3rd, then I noticed he was in foul trouble. What a lucky win, I wonder if the refs jobbed it down the stretch for them like they typically do? I didn't see a single second of the game
I was watching the Grizz/Houston game earlier, so I really just watched the last few minutes of regulation and the overtime of the GS/LAL game. In that stretch though, the refs seemed pretty hands off and fair. The Lakers even had a good chance to win the game in regulation, but their offense stagnated. They isolated Kobe on the right wing, with Draymond Green on him, and no one else did anything to help him, so Kobe got doubled by Green and Ezeli, with no passing outlets, and he couldn't hit the game winner in regulation. He did have one "Kobe-esque" play in overtime though, where he fell to a knee, kept his dribble, and dribbled off balance into the corner only to knock down an off-balance jumper that would be "lucky" if it were from anyone but Kobe. I can't attest to the Lakers coming back from 14 down though. For all I know, the refs could have given them the "Lakers treatment," but I just caught the very end of it.
Refs really weren't that bad in regulation. Couldn't see over time but I think they were pretty fair. Warriors just blew it.
