LOL, they fired Avery Johnson because of his bad offense apparently - let them try Nates... http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/225233/Avery_Johnson_Fired_By_Nets
Hmmm... Deron Wiliiams complains, the coach is gone a week later. I see a pattern starting to develop.
To all you Nate haters: You were right. Just look at what Batum is doing, look what this team could have done. I, for one, was wrong about Nate. His offense was slow, predictable, and boring.
They're just starting to realize that half the guys they went out and signed are over the hill. Wallace? Shadow of himself. Johnson? Nowhere near worth what he's being paid. I guess they did dodge a bullet with Howard though.
Avery Johnson Jr.@itsaveryjohnson I'm sorry are best players couldn't make open shots. Yeah that's my dads fault totally...
I don't know what they expect, none of those guys are super huge impact guys they have on their team.
I was sleeping all day. I'm calling it now, Kevin Love to the Nets. :MARIS61: or maybe cousins would be good.
Dame and Roy are interchangeable. If you take out Roy and put Dame on those Nate teams, it would have had the same effect (except Dame is a better shooter).
Lillard is a PG by nature. He looks to distribute the ball first and score second. Roy was exactly the opposite. For all of his greatness, he dominated the ball too much and Nate used him extensively in isolation plays. We'll never know how Nate may have used Lillard, but Lillard and Roy are not interchangeable pieces.
