i saw a frisbee that was made in mexico, then shipped to china to be printed on, then shipped to america to be sold, seems weird that its cheaper to ship it around the world than to just print it in mexico...

That is actually pretty cool, thanks. However, my point still remains:

The fact is that the majority of electronics contain coltran, the majority of which comes from slave mines in the DRC. The component parts are then assembled in China or Taiwan via sweatshop labor. It's nice that a company like the above exists and is supporting American labor and local economies, but there is no getting around the injustice that goes into building our electronics (all electronics, not just apple products.)

If I gave zero shits about other people (like you, it seems) then I would leave society and "be Amish." But I have too big a heart. The only way in today's society you're going to spur any change is through the internet and computers. So, no, it isn't better.
