Freeland is looking somewhat competent in garbage time. Be nice if he could have some confidence when the game was not in doubt.

I wonder, what exactly was the the game plan for the Blazers tonight?

don't rebound, don't defend, don't hustle and don't run plays on offense.

well, check check check and check.

Interesting that Claver continues to start yet tonight he has the 3rd fewest minutes of any player on our team. Not like we are only running 8 out there tonight either.

so far I'm not that impressed with the teams offense (it's partly due to lack of talent),and I'm really not impressed with their defense or defensive effort.

stotts offense is better than Nates, but anything would've been better than Nates.

The Lakers were extra-psyched because 1) they were so close to us in the standings and 2) 7 or so Laker superstars watched the game.

Retiring the number of Jamaal Wilkes is what did us in. Kupchak probably told the players, don't embarrass us in front of these legends.

You mean when the game was IN doubt

So why do we go? I swear, if I want to see us play, I should just make the trip to Portland. I hate watching us on the road.

I had to finish the game watching it on my phone in the bedroom. Don't know who i'm more mad at, the obv scapegoat of the refs or the fact the blazers gave a pretty damn piss poor effort out there.

You'd be way way more likely to see a win that way, too. Next time, pick a nice juicy homestand like the one we had, and just move here for a week, catch a bunch of games, and enjoy some wins and good food!

NBA Basketball is a game of momentum, and the refs have all the control over it.
