Anderson Silva, who once pondered early retirement, has reportedly signed a new ten-fight deal with the UFC, keeping him fighting for the promotion (at his current pace) until 2017. Silva, 37, is 16-0 in the UFC, with ten straight defenses of his middleweight title.
Re: Anderson Silva signs 10-fight contract with UFC I wonder how many of those 10 fights he'll actually fulfill? I know some people have contracts that are like 8 fights or 3 years, whatever happens first. I wonder if this is like that?
Re: Anderson Silva signs 10-fight contract with UFC He has no intention of fighting Chris Weidman and wants to take most of this year off so that's probably not a time-based deal. Otherwise the UFC would be pushing him to fight someone, I reckon.
