Submission of the Night went to John Moraga
Knockout of the Night not yet announced, likely Todd Duffee
Fight of the Night very likely Miller vs. Lauzon though Holloway vs. Garcia was also great, as was the main event

If Joe Rogan went any further up Cain Velasquez's ass during that main event, his head would've been coming out of Cain's mouth.

Re: UFC 155: dos Santos vs. Velasquez II (Dec/29)

Pretty refreshing to watch the show without catchphrases and bombastic play-calling. I thought Anik and Rogan did a good job.

Alistair Overeem needs to get through Antonio Silva before he starts ragging on JDS and Velasquez. Silva isn't a pushover.

What's next for JDS? Maybe Daniel Cormier?

Sets up a difficult situation for the heavyweight division. Cormier says he'll drop to LHW after his Strikeforce fight. Won't fight Velasquez his teammate.

If not, I don't know who JDS might fight. He's already beaten Nelson, Werdum and Struve. Josh Barnett doesn't seem like a fair challenge. Can't fight Big Nog.

I can't believe people booed JDS. I'm not the biggest fan of the guy, but booing him after displaying that kind of heart is just fucking stupid. Cain was a fucking animal, but I do have to say this was the first time I've ever seen him semi-gassed. I think he was too tired to finish him, which is rare for Cain. Great fight though, absolute domination and exactly like I thought the fight would go the first time. If Cain is healthy, he's gonna be hard to beat at HW. Overeem's glass jaw will shatter under that ground and pound.

Lauzon, what a fucking animal. I was pulling for him so hard in that last round. Miller, too. Great fucking fight.

I say give him a rematch with Werdum when the time comes. It's been over 4 years since that fight, and I'd like to how improved his striking has been since. Besides Cormier, he's the only other option.

Werdum has been promised a title shot if he's able to defeat Big Nog at the conclusion of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2. Both of those guys will be occupied for a while.

Re: UFC 155: dos Santos vs. Velasquez II (Dec/29)

Yeah, that and not having the urge to make a mention of every promo for the next UFC event that pops up during a fight.

unrelated note, I think it's pretty cool JDS is sponsored by Nike.

Yeah I noticed that and thought it was cool too. I want to say I heard Silva is with them too but I've never seen him decked out in Nike gear like Dos Santos was.
