The list of things to see & do is endless. It all depends on how much money and time you have. I go 2-3 times per year and still haven't seen everything. Hope you have fun as its an amazing place.

2 full days, Friday and Saturday, no car. Mostly interested in the strip and Fremont Street.

The Flamingo, but we like to walk a couple miles a day and can taxi otherwise. Just interested in Vegas due to time constraints, not things out of town like the dam or the canyon.

Sorry, I go down there 5 or 6 times a year for work and absolutely hate that place, but I don't gamble. It's just that every dirt bag greasy slime ball is down there. Like a giant version of Jersey Shore! Wanna' be loud obnoxious ballers as far as the eye can see. #havefun

Eat at Battista's Hole in the Wall by Bally's and visit the Crazy Horse Too for some early morning fun.

I get the #19 off of the Battista's menu. Free salad, free bread, and all the free house wine you can stomach for $31.

I believe Maris is a little older than I am, so I hope this helps

    Shows I enjoy

    LOVE
    The Amazing Johnathon

You can pretty much walk up and down the strip and be fine. Since it is your first time there, the hotels themselves will give you plenty to look at.

Rides at the top of the Stratosphere are fun, as well as the coaster at NY NY.

Free shows at most of the hotels are ok (Treasure Island, Excaliber, Mirage)

Gondola rides at Venitian are ok

Buffets at Bellagio, Mandalay Bay and Planet Hollywood are all good

Eating at Le Petite at Paris is a must. Great steaks and brie mashed potatoes

    Bars

    Voodoo Lounge
    Red Square
    are both pretty good

The Crashers is a fun band. Usually at Carnival Court outside Harrahs

If you are into meat market, head to Palms or Hardrock

Freemont Street is fun for a few hours.

In N Out burger behind NY NY is a must of course. Take a taxi, and have them drop you off. Another will be there shortly

...walk out of your casino and take a left the first day and walk to the end of the strip [MGM Grand] and then cross the street [Mandalay Bay] and head back towards The Flamingo. If you hustle, then you will be able to see half of the strip day one [tip: look for monorails to speed between various casinos]. The next day take a right and do the same thing, but when you get to the end take a cab to Freemont. On your way back just cab it back to the end where you left off. Walk back to the Flamingo to see the other half of the strip. You should be able to experience it all in 48hrs so you'll never have to visit again, good luck!

Go see The Amazing Johnathon it's a little pricy but it's well worth it and if you go to New York New York hotel make sure you try the roller coaster they have. Lay some money down on the Blazers in the sports betting section.

Wish I had gone to see Penn & Teller last time.

If you go to that Italian place try not to linger too long at the restaurant. At night the area behind the Flamingo is covered in drunks, homeless, and prostys. Or just pay $5 for a cab back to the doors of the hotel.

TBH I was a little put off last time I was in Vegas by the exponential increase in street hustlers and card passers. Dunno if it is a sign of the economic times in the city (LV was hard hit) or just the way things are now. You can't walk the strip without being accosted every 50-100 feet, especially on a Friday/weekend.

Piano Bar at NY NY is a good time, they also have a great deli place for lunch. Bellagio fountain show is cool. Best show to see before you die is "O". Best place for dinner downtown is Hugo's Cellar at 4 Queens. Hope this helps. Have a great time.

Mob museum near Fremont street is pretty nice. It's in an old court house and right by Fremont street which is a bit ghetto and lots of crack whores. I just did a half marathon through that area like three weeks ago so got to see a bunch of small places I never saw before.

Del friscoes double eagle steak is pretty good...James bond wine rack...off the strip. Steaks are the bomb. If you're doing late night steak and eggs, harrahs has late night combo for like eight bucks which is pretty good..I usually do the one at stratta at the Wynn or the Bellagio coffee shop that is in the main garden room.

Crazy horse too isn't there anymore.....there is a crazy horse 3 but I haven't been

Jaleo is the cosmopolitan is prob my favorite restaurant right now..it's modern Spanish food but really well done...the do a few paellas every night.....bouchon bistro at Venetian is also solid. Holsteins at the Cosmo for burgers.

Buffets suck but if you have to, do the Wynn or Bellagio. My bro did the new one a Cesar's, the bacchanal and said it was good. Don't go to the wicked spoon no matter how good people tell you it is, it blows.

    Ill have more recs tommorow

Afternoon tea at the mandarin oriental is dope as shit. I did that, so relaxing and chill from the hustle and bustle of Vegas

If you want to grab a drink at the top of a hotel, check out mix at the Mandalay bay or the foundation room at house of blues also at the Mandalay. The in casino bar there is actually pretty good there too...it's called eyecandy. All have older crowds....don't go to voodoo lounge, its ghetto as fuck up there.

Your probably not into the clubs but hit up the lounges at aria, Bellagio and Cesar's palace...probably the most chill and upscale without being pretentious or douchebag

Thanks for all the tips! Hoping my wife and I can shake the horrible colds we caught in Portland over Christmas before we go.
