<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">I think it's the Nets. They have the swingmen, but their inside presence is totally non-existent.Which team needs one the most?</span>
Definetley the New Jersey Nets They've done alot this offseason signing free agent Eddie House and drafting Marcus Williams but they seem to never get anything done with the center position and until they get a center that could put up 10 points a night they won't be title contenders. Nenad is a great power forward but you can't expect him starting and guarding the biggest centers and if they could acquire themselves a center they could really contender for the title and would be a dangerous team in the league.Kidd/Williams/HouseCarter/House/Wright/AdamsJefferson/Carter/BooneKrstic/Robinson/Boone/Nachbar ______/Collins/MooreI was thinking they could somehow sign Nazr Mohammed or acquire Chris Wilcox and then this team could be very dominant in the NBA.
Nets have decent big men, especially Nenad Krstic. Collins, Robinson, Moore, Ilic and Boone when he comes back is not a bad set of big men. I would say the Sonics who don't really have a experienced big men, and are relying on green centers. And maybe Grizz because other then Gasol, their weak, Swift is still a question mark if he's going to be with the team or not.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Krstic/Robinson/Boone/Nachbar ______/Collins/Moore</div>You should put Nachbar in the swing rotation, he's not a power forward. Also, Collins should start again alongside Krstic and you forgot to add Ilic, their newest big man.
The Suns, we need another rebounder/defender. We only have 2 real big men right now and I'd rather have another than only have Diaw as the back-up.
The Boston Celtics and New Jersey Nets are the teams that come to mind the most. Although Krstic is surprisingly an effective post player. He is actually a decent post player whether people want to admit it or not. Also, he is a pretty good defensive player.

..Not to mention Shelden Williams who was probably the best defensive big men in college basketball..
Boston Celtics definately. Maybe not the most, but look at this. Al Jefferson, Kendrick Perkins and Micheal Olowanokandi.

I think we're done for this off season.

I dont disagree with that stament.</div>ok, in the "will the wizards win a championship with gilbert thread", you said that they were fine where they are at the center position.....I agree though, the wiz definatley need a center. I dont think that Brendan Haywood is cutting it even though there are many other players that are statistically worse. Also, a team that needs a good center badly is the SA Spurs. They have to start either Francisco Elson, Jackie Butler, or Fabrico Oberto...that isnt too good. Also, the Sonics have a mess at the center position. They have 3 young, unproven centers that are all either foreign or straight out of high school at a very young age. Maybe Saer Sene will help but it seems to me that he is just like the other two except a little more defensive minded, and EVEN MORE raw as a basketball player.

I could see people saying that the Spurs are going to be a great team anyway, which they will, but that doesn't change the fact that they could use a better center.
I disagree, the Wizards don't need a big man because I really believe Brendan Haywood will break out next season and become a solid center in the league. I also think the addition of Darius Songaila will help their offense and Antwan Jamison can fill in at power forward if needed.
