I think there is a better than 50% chance he leaves to play elsewhere. Mariota is going to be the starter the next 2 or 3 years and with Lockie & Rodrigues redshirt years done, he ha no place on the team.

It will be outside of the Pac-12, unless he wants to go to Arizona and try to play one year under RichRod.

Coaches with mobile QBs in the Pac 12

UCLA - Hundley for 3 more years
AZ State - Kelly for 2 more years
AZ - as I stated, only one year for Bennett under RichRod

Where can he go to utilize his talents? I think he stays at UO, gets his degree, and moves to WR.

WVU could use him. Holgerson is a master of the Spread and Bennett has wheels compared to Geno. Maybe even TCU as they have QB woes.

I was thinking a lower division school so he could play next year. The down side is that he wouldn't get a scholarship.

This kid isn't going to be a starting qb, turn him into an LB or a receiver for the Ducks!

I was thinking that last year, I think he could be a pretty good WR, he's a great athlete.

this decision (minus the stay at Oregon part) is probably why Chris Harper is going to be drafted by an nfl team. Good move.

Reminds me of a Drew Bennett, Chris Harper, or Matt Jones. Good size, good wheels, could be a great secondary receiver in the NFL.
