Daequan Cook scheduled to clear waivers at 5 PM ET. If he's not claimed, I'm told, Bulls firmly in lead to sign 3-point specialist

A career 37% shooter from the 2 and 3 pt areas.

Mike Conley Sr., agent for Daequan Cook, makes it official and says Cook is indeed signing with Bulls now that he's cleared waivers as 5 PM

Look for Hamilton to be move to avoid tax hit.

I just see cook as insurance. According to kc, they are under the threshold, though over the tax.

But I wouldn't be shocked if rip is moved. But I think they do it to get better, not *just* to save money.

I don't see Cook playing many minutes. Perhaps playing as much as Mohammed.

If Bulls really move Hamilton then Cook can see more minutes.

Rudy Gay is available for trade. That would be a pretty major kind of move.
