Aldridge has always stayed loyal to his team. Dwight has proven he would bolt if times got tough. For that reason alone I would say no.

Haha I shouldn't have quoted you, but I wanted to use your reply and the suggestion of what the thread is asking for.

I don't think it's too outlandish a notion to make a run at Howard in the summer. He might want to stick it to the Lakers--adding him would make the Blazers instant title contenders.

    Ok, I just woke up.

If we make it past the 1st round with the squad we have; I have no doubt that many players would entertain the idea of coming to PDX.

I don't see Dwight coming to the Blazers ever.

Agreed. It is NJ, ATL, DAL, or staying with LAL imo. Probably in that order.

I'd switch ATL and DAL (and I think the cool new thing is to say "BKN" instead of "NJ" ;) ), but yeah.

Howard: Torn Labrum. I don't know what that means in basketball terms, but he's not throwing a slider for a while.

Jameer Nelson had this and came back in a 'miraculous, unprecedented" 3 1/2 months.

Agreed. I would hate to have a repeat of the drama in Orlando.

Most obvious fantasy player grab ever: Antawn Jamison. Get him now! Dwight/Pau/Hill all out this week.

He has flashes of great play but he's clearly not the same after his back injury. Nerve damage so severe, doctors had retirement as a possible option.

    In short, NO.

I literally didn't know what schadenfreude meant. Until the Lakers this season.

    He's not the same player

Someone said he'd solve all of the Blazers' defensive issues, but I'm assuming that person hasn't seen Dwight play the past year or so. He's lazy and does a terrible job rotating. Guarding the PnR? Forget about it.

Kobe is calling him out for a reason.
