Fuck Mexico, ... how about the Redneck Riviera?

Vacationing in Florida's gulf is such a well-kept secret that I feel bad for even posting about it. You want nice weather, white sand, and water so clear that you can see your feet when you're up to your chin in the water? Well... there's a stretch of Florida from Pensacola to Destin or so that is nothing but that.

Why buy California beachfront property, when you have more beautiful beaches in northern Florida that have real estate for 1/10th of the price?

With the slightest bit of martial arts training, this teenage couple could have made quick work of these canines. Too bad they come from the third world.

Don't know much about Florida, but with so many New Yorkers and east coast people looking at Florida as a place to retire, I'm surprised there are still hidden gem areas in Florida.

The beaches, the water temperature and the real estate prices make Florida more attractive than California. But the reason California beach area is so expensive is the climate you get all year round. Don't think there is a better palce to live if climate is your number one criteria.

Only visited Florida a couple of times and in limited areas, but my experience with Florida was beautiful beaches, great night life, but hot and humid. I didn't mind the rain storms that came and went, but the humidity made it a place I wouldn't want to retire (I would live there if I had the right job . . . live almost anywhere for the right job).

Your first mistake was going to Cabo. I'll agree, an all inclusive resort would be better than a shitty resort town. Like I said before, I can drink and lay out on a beach at home so why would I fly to Mexico (or go on a cruise) to do just that? To each their own though. I know people love cruises and going down to "Mexico". I'm just not one of them.

Hurricanes would be the most obvious reason.

My brother-in-law lives in the Destin area. Planning a trip there later this year.

The majority of martial artists and MA training is in the third world.

there are tons of loose street dogs in mexico, see them all the time. most of them are pretty docile and friendly though but maybe when they get in a pack they get crazy. my initial feeling is these kids were probably fucking with them.

You really shouldn't talk about HCP's relatives like that. At least, not where he can read it...
