Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? I was watching the U.S.A. vs Lithuania game, and I saw DWade hit a couple of threes. I noticed during the playoffs that his range is improving. Do you guys think that his long range shot is improving, and will we see a difference in that next season?
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? But again everyone is hitting 3s on team USA I saw from one of the boxscores that Bosh was 1-2 from the 3!!
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? Well, you have to remember the olympic three point line is shorter than the NBA's. Wade has always been able to hit the long two, so you can't really judge him off his shooting in the olympics, but he definitely was starting to warm up from beyond the arc during this year's playoffs. Hopefully it can carry over to next season.
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? Yeah, it has definitely improved. I remember reading somewhere that during the playoffs, he would go in on his own time and work on his jumper. It definitely paid off in the playoffs and I'm sure we'll see it more in his game in the regular season.
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? The thing about his jumper is, it really donesnt look like he gets his elbow under it, meaning he would have to kinda roll it off his left hand or something., and when you dont time that right the shot is going to be off
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? I was going to say the same thing as Lights Out. The 3 ball in the euro leagues are all shorter. So for NBA players, it is like they are shooting a couple feet inside the 3 point line...Now, Dwyane IMO has still improved a little bit. I dont know if it is me, but Dwyane's fundamentals really seem to be getting better. He is using the head fake to perfection in order to get the defense off of his feet and therefor, I think he is creating better shots for himself and that is why his shot seems to be improving.
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? Wade is an incredible mid range shooter and I believe soon he will take his shot to the 3 point line. He can already hit Olympic 3's at a high percentage.
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? the only problem i see if wade starts developing his jumber more is he might lose his aggresiveness and bringing everyball to the rim, but i think it could be good if he becomes a better 3 point shooter because he wont take as much pounding
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? Just wanted to say one thing I enjoy about Dwayne Wade is he loves using the bank shot. It's a lost art among basketball these days. It needs to be used more, perfected only rises up your percentages. So with that said, easy answer, he's improving but he really wasn't a bad shooter in college(especially midrange). His 3 pt is shaky, still is but I have no doubt he'll hit it consistently sooner then later.
Re: Is Wade's jumper really improving? I don't really know if he even needs the outside range, he was the centerpiece of a team who just won the NBA chamionship and won the finals MVP averaging 35 points a game in the NBA finals. His mid-range jumper is effective enough also his penetrations are pretty much the best in the NBA.
