Your not trolling but you hate LA to the extent it almost seems like you are. It does seem like any situation you can rag on LA youll take it.

No, it was proving my point. Big difference. Just because you don't agree with my point doesn't mean it's "trolling".

I think Stotts let Lillard go for it at halftime. "This is your night, go out and shine" type of thing. Dame is srs bsns on the court, and I think he won't go off like tonight without knowing that everyone else is gassed or having bad luck or whatever.

I'll admit to that. I said it before, but I'll say it again - I HATE overrated players. If everyone wasn't so gaga over LMA I probably wouldn't hate him so much.

I mostly agree. Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook....they shoot about 18 times a game. That seems pretty reasonable for Lillard, who is averaging 15 currently. Mostly I am referring to his confidence. Tonight I felt like he said, "fuck it, I'm gonna do my thing cause I'm in my hometown.". And he did! What a badass!!! I say - carry that attitude over to every game. And, with experience, I think he will.

Wait a sec? Jason Kidd hit 7 threes as a rookie?! That blows my mind, he didn't develop a reliable three ball until way late in his career if I recall. I wouldn't have thought he hit 7 threes all season in his rookie year.

Crazy to think that what Lillard had tonight Jordan averaged in 1987

Chances are Stotts told him to start firing. Regardless it definitely didn't feel like a "selfish" barrage of shots. I don't have an issue with what he did tonight. It all comes down to context.

1987 was a heady time of little defense, though...

I just hope Dame's isn't one of those super streaky players who always shoots in the lower 40 percentile. I still say he needs to work on driving and finishing and getting to the line. That will not only add another deadly dimension to his game but will also help give him more space to shoot. He has the tools to be unguardable.

Faster pace yeah but still crazy number. Kobe averaged 35+ a few years ago too.

Time will tell, but instead of raw field goal percentage, it's his true shooting percentage that matters most to me. hitting a high percentage of threes and taking a lot of foul shots even with a middling field goal percentage can be more valuable than a guy who does nothing but hit 50% on twos, but never takes threes and hardly goes to the line.

True, there are more efficient ways to get shots and his current style of play may prolong his career, but working on getting into the paint more is still something I'd love to see him do. If he can start finishing around the rim consistently and dunking on fools, and passing it out to open shooters, he will be great.

It bugs me that a great game by the rook gets wasted by a visitation from the ghost of Nate.

Wes and Babbitt a combine 4-21 from 3 pt range??? Idiot ball! Does the concept of working for good shots baffle you highly paid pros that much?

Did LMA catch whatever Wesley had?

    Tonight he was moving/running like a 40 y/o.

It wasn't painfully obvious that they took all of those threes because they had no legs? Well, I should say I give Wesley a pass because he worked his ass off last night against Lebron, but Babbitt is just fucking terrible.

Silver Lining, ESPN just had more Lillard highlights than Warrior highlights on their Sportscenter recap of the game... More FTs for Dame coming!
