anyone else think his ID picture on nba.com is from his rookie year? Joel hasn't looked that fat in years. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/joel_przybilla/career_stats.html apparently not, I just looked at their website. He looks much heavier in that picture than he did as a Blazer. check out the difference He must've spent the summer with Raymond Felton.
Is it my turn to keep this thread going? Sorry, I've been derelict. American journalists are so intelligent that they use guides like this to learn difficult subject matter. http://www.ap.org/Content/Press-Release/2013/AP-compiles-presidential-inauguration-style-guide What's the Kardashian news today?
So far tonight, Rubio is 0-4 with 1 assist. Does the kid ever make a shot? He's garbage. Doesn't belong in the league.
I seriously feel sorry for them. Maybe we start this thread again when they are good enough to get an NCAA tourney bid?
He ended up 0-6 and had a -24 for the game in 22 minutes. Ridnour went for 13 with 6 assists and had a +6 for the game in 26 minutes, the only player they had with a positive +/-. Plus-minus usually doesn't tell the tale of a game, but when you have two PGs who weren't on the court together, it does tell a story. That story is that Rubio was all hype.
i dont blame you for knowing nothing about either player, but it paints a stark picture about your knowledge of other players as well
If you're healthy enough to play, you're healthy enough to not suck. Unless, of course, you DO suck...
Yep, somebody also told me the Timberwolves are going to win 50 games, that Rubio is a difference maker (they meant in a good way) that makes his teammates better and sells tickets. Yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are rushing out to pay their hard earned money to watch a guy who misses 82% of his shots. Here's a hint, save your money and attend a 3rd grade CYO game, because most of those kids shoot a higher percentage than Ricky Rubio. To win 50 games, the Timberwolves need to go 34-14 over the remainder of the season. In the entire history of the franchise, have they ever had a stretch where they have won 34 out of 48 games? BNM
Any sports fan in Minnesota should know that "coming off major knee surgery" is no longer a valid excuse for subsequent poor play.
