If I remember correctly didn't that loss send us in a spiral last year? Hopefully does not happen again this year. Tough loss last night. Heartbreaker

It did but mostly because of the blown call that robbed us of the win. This year it was a tough but fair loss, a reality check for our team letting us know we are still a ways behind the big dogs of the division.

You can thank that bad call and tough loss for us landing Damian Lillard!

You're right about last year Mix, but I think this loss showed us that we can play with the best teams in the league. This week we went 1-1 against the NBA Finals teams from last year. I actually think this loss gave us confidence and made us more hungry!

Different team. Last season, we had major dysfunction with Felton, Camby and Crawful. There was zero identity, so a loss like that broke our fragile chemistry and ego.

Plus we still had Nate as a coach; which was even more of an issue. Stotts uses positives to get his team going. Nate was more negative and had little to no "positive reinforcement" for his players.
