If it doesn't cost Hickson then ok sure. If it is going to cost Hickson then I hope we would get one of their other Centers at that cost.

So what is it going to cost then? Can't believe they want some of our other scrubs unless it is simply a salary dump for salary dump.

No, unless it was for Nolan Smith and Freeland or Claver

I honestly wouldn't even give up Freeland or Claver for this stiff. I shouldn't say stiff as he does have some promise but... Nolan Smith, Babbitt (who I don't think will be resigned), or Jeffries then sure.

I think we're close, but I think higher of Babbit than you do. I think he's gonna be the best of the 3 white boys mentioned here

Babbitt takes one step forward and two back too much for my liking. For supposedly being a shooter he actually does that the worst of his skills. He is a better rebounder then shooter.

Actually Babbitt and Jeffries maybe something they would consider, since both will shed salary if they don't work and a player like Babbitt totally fits in the Karl type system.

As BrianFromWA stated, Jeffries gains even more value in the eyes of other teams if we wait until the draft to deal him. I think we hang on to him until then. You could probably insert Smith for him and DEN isn't going to care anyways as it is more to get rid of the Center then what they get back imo.

I don't wanna argue cause I'm about to go to bed, but I think Babbitt has turned into a pretty lights out shooter in the last few months. It's crazy how people can see two different things while watching the same game, but its all good!

I understand the love for Babbitt; but let's get real here. Claver is a decent back-up for Batum at SF. We don't have that starting center. Could this player be a starting caliber center? Maybe not, but getting a decent center type player without even using Hickson is ideal. We have the shooters already. What we need is some fucking interior defense!

Babbitt is streaky as heck though, don't you think? He is only shooting 32% from 3 this year.

HUH? he's a 3pt specialist whose 3 pt shooting frankly sucks this yr - 32.6%, and his overall FG% is 35.8%, the guy is frankly shooting like shit - I say adios Luke

And I still say he has potential to get better as a 3-pt specialist...I don't see anything that Claver or Freeland could become special at. At least Joel got his FG% above 10% though!

Joel Freeland is right now shooting better from the field then Babbitt.

Comparing Apples to Oranges though. Different roles on the team. Claver and Babbitt is a closer comparison at least.

Claver is a damn good role player if he could get his timing down and learn to finish around the rim. Also if Claver just develops an average mid range game; his value would go even higher. We have the scorers. We are lacking the bench. Claver is still young and can develop into a solid bench player. We won't need him for anything more than 10-15 minutes a game; giving Nic 10-15 minutes of rest.

Babbitt has hit more Chalupa shots than Freeland and Claver combined. Learn the game, then post! :ghoti:
