    Yep with Ibaka they don't have much of a depth issue at the 4 and 5 position. The spot they are weak at at SF but it doesn't matter because Durant doesn't come out for more then 8 minutes a game max.

    I'm sure my position is becoming quite clear...can we get someone better than Hickson if we trade him? No. Will a better free agent sign with us? Problably not. Keep JJ. This is the type of player many have been begging for for years, now we have him and you want to get rid of him? Crazy

    I'd love to have him, as a backup, for a reasonable price. That doesn't seem very likely. I'm not smart enough to know if his cap hold will keep us from making a deal or signing a more useful player this summer. In the meantime, he's not a center, and LaMarcus plays in front of him at PF.

    Cleveland traded Hickson for Omri Casspi and a future first

    Sacramento flat out just waived him

    No NBA thought enough of him to offer more than a 1 year, 4 million dollar contract this past off season

    So what is it that you know that EVERY OTHER NBA TEAM doesn't?

    I'm a fan on a message board stating my opinion. The Blazers signed him. He's putting up a double double as an undersized center on a playoff team. Maybe you should e-mail Olshey and ask him what he knows?

    He knows not to offer him more than a 1 year deal at only 4 mm

    Hickson is a great hustle guy, but he is a PF. We have one of those already, so re-signing Hickson for anything more than 4-5 mm per is kinda insane. This team is desperate for two things to take the next step in it's growth process.

    1. Someone that can defend the rim.

    2. Someone who can create his own damn shot so Lillard and Aldridge won't get double teamed all night.

    IMO, Hickson does neither of those things remotely well.

    I see where you're comin from MM I just disagree. I think it's rare that the Blazers get their hands on someone like Hickson, off waivers no less! If we trade him I think we're looking at a JO, Z-Bo situation all over again. Keep talent

    What exactly does JJ do that Ibaka/Collison can't? Adding JJ to OKC doesn't make much sense for them because it would be duplicitous.
