I appreciated the statistics from Bullsgers post: APG: 22.8 (Opp: 18.5) --- Whoa, we average 4 more assists per game than our opponent! TO: 14.89 (Opp: 14.31) --- Clearly, lots more passing, but only slightly more turnovers. Good job protecting the ball in a pass friendly offense. FG%: .439 (Opp: .430) --- Shooting higher percentage shots FT%: .789 (Opp: .756) --- Shooting FT's at a significantly higher rate 3p%: .361 (Opp: .342) --- 3PT shooting 2 percentage points higher. Those are some nice keys for understanding how we are at 21-15 at this point, sans superstar. And WHO KNOWS what they'll do tonight? Good Hope knows: Bulls win 94-92
Bulls built a big lead. Then Lowry came in and lit up Kurt and fouled him out. Belinelli was terrible. He missed two big free throws and several isolation plays. Thibs played the offense/defense substitution game and Taj ended up fouling out while giving up the FTA that got it into OT. Daequan Cook got 4 seconds of PT. Woot! Raptors were lucky we didn't unleash Nazr Mohammed on them.
Nazr, the Raptor killer. Tim Donaghy's accomplice Scott Foster did a miserable job on this game, I think, but repeatedly missing free throws extinctified the Raps.
