    I tried to skim the article and understand what was going on but i didnt really get it and dont have tim to really read. Would one of u kindly summarize in a few sentences? Why make up the story of a fake girlfriend? why wouldnt the girl whose picutre was used speak up about it? Why would his parents/friends be in on it to?

    This is exactly what I was thinking. T'eo is a Mormon and the Tuiassiosopo kid is some devout christian ... plenty of reasons to invent a cover story about a girlfriend if that's what was going on.
